“Six weeks later I’m opening my own jars. My physio asked what I’d changed. When I told her she just said ‘keep doing whatever you’re doing.’”
Conceptual knee-joint cross-section with silver scissors snipping the cartilage surface and fine tears beside red joint lining. No text.

It isn't just aging. It's COX-2 overload.

When a joint is irritated, your body makes COX-2, an enzyme that trims old cartilage, then switches off.

Think of scissors that come out, snip, and go back in the drawer.

Estrogen puts them away.

When it drops at menopause, they keep snipping.

Micro tears. More irritation. More COX-2. A loop.

Glucosamine, collagen and gels are second.

They stitch while the scissors still cut.

Painkillers only mask it.

Bring COX-2 down first.

Astaxanthin helps your body regulate COX-2 the way estrogen used to, without raising your hormones or wrecking your stomach.

WHAT BRINGS COX-2 DOWN

Two softgels. Three jobs, in order.

Crimson astaxanthin oil and softgels in warm light

Brings COX-2 down.

Icelandic astaxanthin, 12 mg in MCT oil.

Ruby tart cherries and juice droplets

Backs it up.

Cold-processed 50:1 tart cherry keeps inflammation quiet.

Then the rebuild.

2,500 mg collagen peptides, once your joints are left alone.

01 / ASTAXANTHIN + MCT

Not the Amazon synthetic.

The only natural compound that stops COX-2 inflammation without wrecking the stomach is astaxanthin, a red pigment algae only make under stress.

Icelandic astaxanthin is grown indoors in pure glacial water under controlled light.

Most supplements are synthetic, or dry powder from open ponds.

That's why so many women felt nothing.

12 mg in MCT oil, because it only absorbs with fat.

From food you'd need a pound of wild salmon a day.

02 / TART CHERRY EXTRACT

Cold-processed, or it's wasted.

Heat destroys the anthocyanins.

We cold-extract at 50:1 and keep 98% potency.

It backs up the astaxanthin.

03 / COLLAGEN PEPTIDES

The rebuild comes second.

Cartilage is 65% collagen.

But stitching while COX-2 still cuts doesn't hold.

Bring it down first, then 2,500 mg collagen peptides have something to work with.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Give it twelve weeks.

  1. Weeks 1 to 2:

    Morning stiffness shortens.

  2. Weeks 2 to 3:

    Grip and stairs improve.

  3. Weeks 4 to 6:

    Someone else notices.

  4. Weeks 8 to 12:

    It keeps building.

    Two softgels with a meal.

“Three weeks in, my daughter noticed before I did”

“I’d done glucosamine for two years. Fish oil. Turmeric. All of it. My knees were still the reason I stood at the back at my granddaughter’s soccer games — couldn’t do the bleachers, couldn’t stand for ninety minutes, so I’d just hover near the exit in case I needed to sit. Week three on this my daughter called and said ‘Mum, you were on the bleachers the whole game on Saturday.’ I hadn’t even registered it. That was six weeks ago. I’m still on the bleachers.”

Patricia M., 63, Phoenix AZ

“My PT had no explanation”

“I’d tried everything. Glucosamine, turmeric, the expensive stuff from the health food store. Morning stiffness that used to lock me up for an hour. Couldn’t open a jar, couldn’t twist a tap without using a cloth. A friend sent me this so I tried it. Six weeks later I’m opening my own jars. My physio asked what I’d changed. When I told her she just said ‘keep doing whatever you’re doing.’ That was three months ago.”

Donna K., 66, Austin TX

“I’m back in the garden”

“The mornings were the worst. Hands so stiff I couldn’t grip the coffee mug properly for the first twenty minutes. I used to love gardening — couldn’t do more than ten minutes before I had to stop and rest my hands. I’d basically given it up. Four weeks on Vita1, the morning stiffness is half what it was. I was out for an hour and a half last Saturday, pruning, pulling weeds, the lot. My husband came out and just watched me. Hadn’t seen me do that in two years.”

THE CYCLE

Irritation makes COX-2.

COX-2 trims cartilage.

Micro tears irritate the joint again.

Without estrogen, nothing stops it.

Astaxanthin helps regulate it.

Cherry backs it up.

Collagen rebuilds after.

GOOD TO KNOW

Your questions, answered.

What is in each serving?

12 mg astaxanthin and 2,500 mg hydrolyzed collagen peptides, alongside a 50:1 tart cherry extract. Coconut-derived MCT oil is the carrier. The 50:1 figure describes the extract ratio, not its dose in milligrams.

How many softgels are in the bottle?

There are 60 softgels and 30 servings in each bottle. One serving is two softgels.

What is COX-2 overload?

An enzyme that trims old cartilage and should switch off. When estrogen drops at menopause it keeps going, and the joint gets more irritated.

Does it contain estrogen?

No. No hormones.

I'm past menopause. Is it too late?

No. The loop carries on, so bringing COX-2 down matters whenever you start.

What makes it Icelandic?

Natural algae grown indoors in pure glacial water under controlled light. Not synthetic.

Does collagen rebuild damaged cartilage?

Collagen is a structural protein in cartilage. Peptides supply amino acids used in the body’s proteins, but this formula has not been shown to rebuild damaged cartilage. The illustration explains normal tissue maintenance.

Why use MCT oil?

Astaxanthin is fat-soluble. VITA1 pairs it with coconut-derived MCT oil. Studies of lipid formulations support the importance of formulation, but they do not establish a specific absorption multiplier for VITA1.

Can I take it with my medicines?

Check the full product label and speak with your doctor or pharmacist before combining supplements with medicines or other supplements. Do not replace prescribed treatment with VITA1.
